DCTC hosts many defensive driving courses on our 2.8 mile driving track
DCTC partners with many companies and public works to provide hands-on training to snow plow drivers. This 6-hour course is divided into two sections, 2-hours of classroom instruction and 4-hours of practical driving exercises. The driving exercises include training opportunities in serpentine and evasive maneuvers, backing techniques, skid recovery, and vehicle control. This course gives drivers the opportunity to sharpen their defensive driving skills, and many take this training every year.
